Bold, Brave and Strong

35 of 45 Moments of Wonder

I wish for you to be bold. Be bold enough to use your voice. Be bold enough to speak up when you see injustice. When you feel you are in the wrong place, be bold enough to say something and then move the right place. My wish for you is that you will be bold enough to stand up for the ones who can’t stand up for themselves, that you will stand in the uncomfortable places and speak your truth. It is my hope for you that you will know what your voice sounds like and that you share it with the world.

I wish for you to be brave. Be brave enough to listen to your heart. Be brave enough to hear the still, small voice within you that tells you whether you are on the right path. My wish for you is that you will be brave enough to move when you have learned all you can in one place or in one relationship. It is my sincere wish for you that you find your heart at peace within your relationships and in your home, your work and in your play. It is my hope that when you are no longer able to thrive and grow in one place, that you will be brave enough to seek out the places and people who challenge you and who hold space for you to be truly yourself.

And I wish for you to be strong. Be strong enough to listen to your heart and your voice and live the life you have always imagined. Don’t be okay with living the life you are willing to settle for. Don’t allow anyone to tell you that you don’t deserve to have everything you desire. If you are willing to work for it, you do deserve it. My wish for you is that you will create the life you want, not simply accept what someone else has decided is best for you. You deserve to live all the dreams you have now or have had in the past. You deserve to remain open to whatever life has to offer you in the future.

So, dear friend, what are you going to do today to live a bolder, braver and stronger life? How can you be bold? How can you use your voice to let others know how you feel or what you think? And how will you become stronger working through these questions?
