#OneWord2020

Last week I challenged you to consider one word that you would take with you into 2020. My word for 2019 was Fierce and while I am not sure I was always fierce in my actions and words, I believe I approached my life with a certain fierceness.

For 2020 I made a list of words as possibilities. I tried courage and wonder after the book I just published and the blog series coming on Wednesday. I considered words like peace, kindness and joy to reflect the things I hope to find more of in my life. I also considered words about becoming or progressing because I am a work in progress.

But one word stuck with me as my word for 2020.

Vision

Not only did vision seem fitting for a year called 2020, but it is also a great reminder for me to consider my vision for my life, for my family, for my work, and to become laser focused on doing and being the things I need to do and be to be in alignment with my vision.

So, to all of you, as I leave 2019 (this will be my last posting of the year) and move into 2020, my hope for you is that you will set down the things that did not serve you well in 2019 and leave them there. Pick up and hold tight to the love and goodness that served you in 2019 and carry it with you into 2020.

May you be happy.
May you be safe.
May you be healthy.
May you live with ease.

And may you have vision in 2020.

Sending all my love to you and yours.

Christine
